Mail Admin
Email Defense Portal
We make use of two different types of mail systems. Depending on which system you use, the instructions
for logging in varries:
- cPanel System - The cPanel mail system comes with most web sites however this service offers
only rudamentry protection from spam and no virus protection.
You can log into the web mail by logging into the control panel
(typically a url like http://www.mydomainname.com:2082) and selecting the mail icon
, the Web Mail link and finally on one of
the three mail program's links: NeoMail, horde,
or SquirrelMail depending on your preference.
- WebMail System - The WebMail system features spam and virus filtering for which a
daily report is emailed to the user to identify emails withheld by the server. This system also features
an online calender, contact management and to-do-lists.
You can log into the web mail by going to a url like http://mail.mydomainname.com. When prompted, simply
enter your user name and password.
- WebMail's Mail Admin - The WebMail system also has an online application for email administrators. Here
you change other user's passwords, setup email forwarders, distribution lists, domain wide preferences.
You can log into WebMail's Mail Admin tool by going to https://mailadmin.webmaillogin.com.
Log in with the administrator's full email address and password.
- Email Defense Portal - Email filter for spam and virus may be purchased seperately for those who wish to
retain their existing POP3 account. The Email Defense Portal allows you to control filtering and reporting
policies, view quaranteened messages, etc.
You can log into Email Defense Portal by going to http://portal1.emaildefenseservice.com.
Log in with your full email address and password.
