We completed our first pass at the How-To Servlet. The goal of this project is to making producing, maintaining and (most importantly) following how-to documents easier. A working copy can be checked out of subversion at http://code.google.com/p/jparrproductions/source/browse or more information can be found on the project page.

January 14th, 2008

Polishing off the SimpleCMS system. With this revision we now how support for automatically built submenus using the ancor tag, some needed refactoring and of course various bug fixes.

We are now using Google Code to host our subversion repository. You can check out our project (actually projects) by going to the site http://code.google.com/p/jparrproductions.

November 29th, 2007

We just installed our own software (Simple CMS) on our web site (at least our release candidate). This will enable us to keep our own site more up to date which was the goal of the Simple CMS project in the first place! It also appears from the feedback we are getting that we are holding up to our promise of producing a simple content management system.

We have begun development of the How-To Servlet which is aimed at simplifying the writting of how-to documents and presenting them in a step-by-step wizard.

September 9th, 2007

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were forced to put the Simple CMS software into production for one of our clients. While not completely functional, the key aspects of the program are working allowing the client to adminster the content of their site without the need of client software. Unfortunately it isn't proving to be as simple as intended, then again, we were not quite done.
